Dinner with Divas Louisiana Third Annual Christmas Party

The Louisiana chapter of Dinner with Divas met in Gonzales, Louisiana at Mike Anderson's on Saturday December 3, 2017. The theme was a winter wonderland, encouraging women to come out in their all white attire. Each meeting usually has a theme attached to it, which gives the gathering a special twist, a commonality, a thought, or a unique spin. At the end of the day, women will be women. "I can't find white. I'm too big for white," were some of the concerns voiced by our members. Therefore, the color red was added at the last minute.

As you can see, our Louisiana president, Ciarra Bell, was one of the ladies who elected to wear the color red. I always say if you decide to go against the majority make sure you're clean, on point, flawless, and camera ready. Well, Miss Bell did that, her make-up, hair, shoes, and dress screamed super model Not only was she stunning in every aspect of the word, but also nailed the surprise photoshoot. Love Le Menu wants women to feel empowered. Our dinners are for ladies to step up and step out; we want women to get dressed up for our gatherings because studies show when you look good you feel good. Everyone deserves royal treatment so why shouldn't you treat yourself to fine dining, cocktails, and conversation? Pencil our dinner dates on your calendar and show up and show out like our Louisiana president.

Highlights of the evening included a professional photo shoot for everyone, dirty Santa, and special gift recognitions. Dirty Santa Top steals: "Sexy after 7" naughty basket, 1800 tequila gift set, TJ Maxx gift certificate, and the MAC gift card.

Mike Anderson has been around for years, I went on my first dinner date there over 20 years ago, and the Louisiana style seafood is still amazing. The divas gave an overall rating of 4. The food-4, the cocktails-4, the service-5, and the ambience-4. Our favorite cocktails were the Harry-tini and the Pomegrante martini. If you're ever in New Orleans, Gonzales, or Baton Rouge, Louisiana you should stop by Mike Anderson for a taste of the bayou.
